What did you base the purchase of your first car on? Was your first car a very costly, extremely luxury sports model or something a bit more basic? No, we probably made the purchase mostly influenced by the cost of the vehicle.

Other people believe that the term sedan is based on the root “sed” from the Latin word “sella” meaning a carried chair. Regardless of where the word comes from, sedans are very popular vehicles and extremely practical - especially for families with kids who need enough chairs and the benefit of a big enough cargo area!
