Commercial Painting Contractors Can Help You Pick Your Color Choices
Commercial painting contractors with many years on Long Island will have undoubtedly come across plenty of interesting color schemes in the offices they visit. We’ve definitely had our fair share. What color scheme will work best for your office? Your personal preferences weigh heavily on this. A
Most offices tend to be painted in soft, neutral colors such as beige, light tan, and white. These are seen as least offensive to the human eye. This is ideal for a large office environment where there are many different people with many different tastes. Government buildings and colleges follow this same logic, so more often than not their interiors will be colored similarly.
Speaking of government buildings, have you noticed that all government offices tend to be painted the exact same color whether they’re controlled by the city, county, or state? Don’t you find that to be a little creepy?
We’ve seen quite a few offices that fly in the face of tradition and instead take a more radical approach to their color schemes. Bright neon colors, dark and bold reds and blues, earthy browns and greens. All colors are fine if they’re in the right place. Neon green or pastel blue might not work in a law firm, but it would be ideal in a pediatrician’s office. Kids are less likely to get bored with outrageous colors than they would with neutral beiges and whites (They also like to draw on white surfaces, we’ve noticed). And while earthy colors might be ideal for a library or similar place where a soothing aura is good, these colors might not work in a place where some level of intensity and stimulation is required, like a brokerage house.
What atmosphere are you hoping to generate within your office? Nothing but professional? Creative and liberated? Relaxed and soothing? Find out what you need, then get great Long Island painters in to get the job done. Ask your contractor for recommendations if you’re unsure! Chances are an expert
