New Transformers game on the road

This summer is a new Transformers movie, and thus, it goes almost without saying that Activision plans to launch a licensed game based on the movie. Now the project is announced.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is developed for the Xbox 360, terra cotta soldiers exhibit and PlayStation 3 at High Moon Studios. Here we as usual take part in the war between the good Autobots and the evil Decepticons.

The robots in the Transformers universe has the handy (and, strictly speaking, a reasonable ridiculous) property that they can transform into different vehicles, terracotta warriors and in the Dark of the Moon is the third transformation mode. The plot of the game takes place in diverse environments, including the South American jungles, the military bases in Siberia and cityscapes in the U.S. automotive industry’s hometown, Detroit. The game also introduces a new bad guy, and has been sounding name Shockwave.

In addition to the single-player campaign, terracotta soldiers which boasts multi-player online, but we have no specific details on this aspect of the game.

- We could not have been more excited than to extend the epic movie universe in Transformers: Dark of the Moon game, and allow fans to experience the exciting events that take place before the events of the upcoming film, “said a delighted Paul Wright, Director for the marketing of licensed property of Activision.

In addition to the big console release from High Moon is working developer studio Behaviour Interactive (formerly known as Artificial Mind & Movement) with their own versions of the game, for Wii, DS and 3DS. We have no information on these, but guess they involve robots that can transform into cars.
