There are some islands around the world that are the perfect picture of the dream island, and we can surely say that the island of Mauritius which is situated somewhere in the Indian Ocean is one of them. The island has a long and interesting past but only became an independent republic just before the seventies.
If that was not really true two or three years ago because most golf courses were actually owned by hotels which jealously kept them to their customers, this has changed on Mauritius.
