“Teen Mom 2″ is a spin-off of the MTV documentary series “16 and Pregnant”. The show follows the stories of four girls from the second season of “16 and Pregnant” and documents the challenges of their first years of motherhood. Each episode interweaves stories of four teenage girls who are navigating the bumpy terrain of adolescence, growing pains, and coming of age - all while facing the responsibility of being a young mother.
Tensions flare between Adam and Megan, prompting her to move out; Jenelle invites Barbara to Jace’s first birthday celebration; Kailyn moves back in with Jo’s family; and the romance heats up between Leah and Corey. Teen Mom 2 is an American reality television series that premiered on MTV on January 11, 2011. The series is a spin-off of 16 and Pregnant, and sister show to the original Teen Mom.
Upon realizing she can’t afford to fight her mother in a courtroom, Jenelle agrees to sign over custody of Jace temporarily. Trying to get her life on track, she enrolls in college classes, tries to support herself financially, and finds a new romance with Keiffer. However the path to success isn’t as easy as she anticipates, and she finds herself battling Barbara to be allowed to spend time with her son and desperate to keep a roof over her head. Residents of Oak Island have also demanded that she put a muffler on her car because of the obnoxiously loud noise that her car makes.
Chelsea is the mother of Aubree Skye Houska. Popular softball star Chelsea dropped out of high school senior year while pregnant with her daughter, Aubree. She has a tumultuous relationship with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Adam - Aubree’s father. Chelsea benefits from a strong support group of family, friends, and especially her dad. This season, Chelsea moves into a place of her own with her best friend and Aubree.
Leah is a country girl who wears her heart on her sleeve and when she discovers that Aliannah is developing at a slower rate than her sister, she reaches out to Corey. Now that one of their daughters is sick, the two strengthen their bond, reconciling to be there and committing to one another. As they grow closer, they continue to move fast, with a whirlwind proposal and a wedding looming in the near future.
Kailyn and Jo’s relationship begins to crumble under the stress of balancing their lives and raising Isaac. The non-stop fighting is wearing thin on Jo’s family, and the two break up, with Kailyn continuing to live at the house, but this time in the basement. When she starts dating someone new, Jo and his family find out and she is forced to break it off with the new boy. She continues to live with Jo’s family and repair her relationship with Jo.
