The Fighter Flick Review

Paramount Films circulated a fresh new, drama flick titled “The Fighter” into movie theaters a couple months ago,and it was a version of those feel great movies, but with numerous intense, negative drama blended in. The movie features: Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Melissa Leo,and Jack McGee.

The movie focused on fighter Mickey who is an up and coming fighter who’s looking to follow in his brother Dicky’s footsteps. Dicky had in earlier times fought boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard, and knocked him down. Sadly, now, his existance polluted with a destructive drug addiction that effects his power to train Mickey correctly.

Mickey’s mommy and brother look to manage his boxing career, yet somehow, one horrible incident after another leads him to go a stray to other management. His sweetheart Charlene Fleming also supports his selection. Mickey was a losing boxer, but after parting ways with his family,he was able to put together a successful record.

Meanwhile, his brother fixed up his conduct in prison, and helped Mickey obtain a title fight via some terrific boxing ideas from jail. At the conclusion, “The Fighter” delivered an amazing “feel good” moment when Dicky rejoined with his brother Mickey to assist him in the title fight. I won’t share the ending completely, however, I’ll just say it was very emotional at the end. I certainly loved it.

The flick had quite a lot of mad drama, that included the girlfriend and also the sisters engaging in a fight,Mickey getting his hand hurt by the cops over Dickey, and tons of verbal altercations. It wasn’t the caliber of the old Rocky movies, but it kind of reminded me of those because it was a boxing flick. I gave the movie a B rating.
